Beat the Mercury Retrograde Blues
Mercury Retrograde (or just life in general) got you feeling a little blue these days
Welp. Let's beat those blues, babe!
Dance your blues away
Whether it is by yourself, with your room mate, with co-workers, with your boo thang, or with your girlfriends, shake it out. Nothing quite beats the blues like shaking your tail feather to relieve the stress from our daily lives.
Mantras, mantras, mantras
Our words are powerful. The words spoken over your life have meaning, the universe hears them and, more importantly, you hear them. Feed your ears with edifying words and you will fill your heart, soul and brain with the confidence to hold your head high.
Don't know where to start? Here are some of my faves:
- Time is abundant and ever in my favor.
- The universe is always conspiring to bring me my greatest good.
- I live a life of abundance where my needs are met and money flows to me easily.
- I am enough. I have enough. I do enough.
Start here and make your own to keep you moving forward.
Speak your mind
Don't hold back. You have things to say and they should be heard, so say them. Open up and express yourself to a group, a friend, vent about what is bothering you. Be honest and respectful about your truth.
I know, I know, we are all unbothered bad bitches with mascara too expensive to waste on tears. Give your body, mind and soul an opportunity to release all that tension anyways. Strength isn't always about tight control of our emotions. Strength is having the courage to give yourself what you need when you need it.
Take a few killer #selfies
You are more than pretty, but being pretty is awesome and you are a beautiful, desirable woman. Now, that can't fix everything, but feeling good about yo sexy ass can't hurt.
Try an orgasm?
The body releases oxytocin when you orgasm - an orgasm (and all that oxytocin) can help your brain relax and feel more positive about the world. Other benefits include lessening symptoms of depression and anxiety.
Set realistic goals and smash 'em
I don't know about you, but I get a neurotic pleasure from checking off a task list and accomplishing things.
